I have a really vivid memory of my mum breaking down in tears on auction day as she and my dad tried to sell our family home. The whole process was overwhelming and stressful, especially because the outcome would determine whether they could afford to retire.
That memory stays with me nearly every day, because when someone is selling a property, there’s often so much more going on beneath the surface.
